RatesBoard

Press & data

Rates as at 18 Sept 2026.

RatesBoard is an independent home loan rate comparison site for Australia. We read what lenders publish, every day, and put it in one place, ranked by advertised rate. We’re not paid by any lender.

Independence

RatesBoard is run independently, and we are not paid by any lender. We take no commissions and no affiliate or referral payments from lenders, and we’re not a lender, a broker or an adviser.

What we track

194 owner-occupier home loan products from 31 lenders, and 186 investor home loan products from 30 lenders, which you can switch between with the owner-occupier / investor toggle on the rates table.

Every figure comes from a source we can point to: the lenders’ own published data, pulled directly from public, standardised open data feeds under the Consumer Data Right.

How fresh the data is

The data is synced daily, and each figure carries the date we last read it. The board reflects the most recent successful sync, and every rate change is logged on the rate changes page.

How the numbers work

Rows are ranked by advertised rate, lowest first. Every row also carries a comparison rate, which folds the loan’s known fees into a single number so two loans can be compared like for like. The full detail is on the methodology page.

How to cite us

Free to reference with a link: cite RatesBoard (ratesboard.com.au), link the page you used, and quote the date we show. The figures are the lenders’ own published numbers, read by us on that date. Anything beyond that, talk to us first.
